wamfsu Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 I had been playing around for days on priceline and kept getting rejected. I decided to extend the search to 3 star downtown because all the hotels except for 2 I thought were pretty good. On the first try at $45 it got accepted. I was very happy to get the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel located at 165 Courtland. It use to be a 4 star and on most sites its listed as 3*. I am so glad I got my money refunded form hotwire for a 3* country inn and suites. Not only is this cheaper but its a higher ranked hotel. Staying at both brand hotels before I cant believe they could have the same star rating. This was my first time using priceline and am normally a hotwire fan but I may have just converted. The rate for this hotel a night on Sheraton.com and Expedia is $179. Put 4* at first, downtown atlanta at $50 got rejected added some places with no 4 stars and got know where quit at $55. Then decieded after 24 hours to do 3* and 4* downtown at $45.total for 2 nights with all service fees and taxes- $111.10
