dahammer
the furthest point from the George Washington Bridge in the Fort Lee-Hackensack zone is Paramus or Fair Lawn, this is about 12 miles and as much as a one hour commute in the morning. I have had more than my share of disappointments in this zone, hoping for Ft. Lee and ending up in Saddle Brook. This 3* is kind of tough, the lack of a pool icon eliminates the usual suspects like the Crowne Plaza in Englewood, or the Ft. Lee Hilton. The Hilton in Hasbrouck Heights is now a 3.5*. The golf icon is not meaningful as there is a golf course "nearby" just about all of the hotels in this zone. Link to comment
Cart
Conclusion: I did not end up going with Hotwire for last year's trip. I was too worried that it would be too far. I believe we were commuting on a weekday so there would definitely be traffic congestion. We ended up booking Holiday Inn Fort Lee George Washington bridge.Decent hotel and OK price. $120 per night. Thanks Link to comment
