I tried to add a night to my London stay of 4 nights next year. Priceline rejected my request. Now I have 3 options:

1.Call the hotel directly and ask if they can extend for one night for the same PL price or at least close.

2.Bid PL and hope to get the same hotel (should I bid the same price I got the room for to maximize my chances?).

3.Get a room for full price.

Any suggestions which is a best option.

I tried to add a night yesterday. After been rejected I sent an email to PL asking why they did not provide a reason

why I was rejected because my request seemed to be within their rules. They answered that the hotel is not available

for the day.

The standard price for the hotel is $238. I have never being to London before and do not know how difficult it is to check out, move my bags to another hotel, check in then check out again next morning. But I guess to save $128 I would do it.

Hi there.. newbie here sorry if there are basic questions.. So I need to stay at the Copthorne Tara arriving May 5th, departing May 7th 2008 (for 2 or 3 rooms)

based on this thread, can I just bid with:

Selected 4* Bloomsbury and Mayfair and Westminster and Kensington and Regents Park

Bid:$110

I can post a new thread, since its a new bid, but its within a few days of the OPs stay.. so before I open a new thread, figured I would post here. my next question will be where do I start, but I'll leave that for later

Thanks!!

Welcome to BetterBidding!

For starters, you can't bid on a specific property. If you need to stay only at this property then the opaque suppliers are probably not your best option. Even though this stay is near your own, rates are date specific, and can (and do) change from one day to the next... you can't count on receiving the same property as above is you make the same bid as above (this would be true even if your dates were the same as the original poster of this thread)

If you're open to the possibility of receiving other hotels in this zone besides this one please start a NEW TOPIC for your own stay.

Thanks.
