joshly Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 HI!Anyone have advice on how to get the best deal on a 5* Venetian in LV on the above dates? I am willing to pay 120$ to 140$ a night, is that realistic for the dates I need? or should the bid be lower or higher? Please help! :)
thereuare Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding!$140 is probably a bit optimistic for these dates... do you want to up your maximum bid or stick with that amount? Any strategies we suggest will make sure you don't overbid. Also, just a reminder that you're not bidding specifically on the Venetian, but a 5* hotel in the North Strip zone.Let us know regarding your maximum bid and we'll take it from there. joshly Posted September 20, 2007 Author Report Posted September 20, 2007 What do you think is a more reasonable bid? I would like to try for 140$ but you have more experience in this than me, so I trust your advice :) If 140$ is way off, I am willing to go up to around 175$.
thereuare Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 At the 5* level you have eight re-bid zones availalbe. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 5* North Strip...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone2...Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone3...Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone4...Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone5...Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone6...Bid $150, if rejected add re-bid zone7...Bid $155, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 5* North Strip and re-bid zone8...Bid $160, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $165, if rejected add re-bid zone2...Bid $170, if rejected add re-bid zone3...Bid $175.You can stop at whatever price level above you're comfortable with.Any questions feel free to ask.Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
