Likely the Orrington. If so, doesn't get the best reviews, but I recently put up visiting friends there, and they thought it was actually a very nice hotel definitely better than the reviews. So, it may be hit-and-miss, but great location in downtown Evanston.

Thanks -- that was my guess based on the hotel list. Are you from the area? If so, what golf course is around? I looked on a map and couldnt find one in the vacinity.

I'll let AaronJB comment on the golf course question, but can you please add the dates of your stay to this thread as it may help others looking for similar dates as your own.
