Hey Kewl-1 I did beat it!!!!!!!!

Was watching Hotwire all week for what I was sure was the Diplomat Country CLub and it was fluctuating from $280.00 to 349.00 Their own website had a best available rate of $175.00 So monday Hotwires price is once again $349.00 and I pounced on it. Submitted the double the difference form and just got confirmation of $696.00 refund woo hoo total for 2 nights $2.00 + tax = 72.00 And the resort looks incredible. Hope this helps someone.

Were there any amenities listed for the Diplomat?

No amenities are listed. But I was certain that it was from checking the vacation pkg. Of course I could have been wrong and it may have been the Westin Diplomat, but I think that it s 4* and availabilty was limited.

What kind of room did you get? I see the 175 rate on their website for my dates and I want to make sure they are the same type of room? What kind of bed and view? Thanks.

We requested 2 doubles and a crib and it was granted no problem. We were given a corner room and it seemed pretty big. This was a very posh place. We had our three little ones with us but it would be a terriffic place for a couples only getaway. Absoultely the nicest hotel bathroom ever :) Also they were very accomodating to the kids and they provided them with mini bathrobes. My only regret is not having stayed longer.
