Priceline Hotel: 3* LA-San Gabriel Valley (West Covina) Radisson Suites

I'm trying to stay in the West Covina part of the San Gabriel Valley. Yesterday I tried doing *3 for West Covina at $55 (rejected), added Monrovia as a free re-bid at $60 (rejected), and because I was willing to stay there, I then added Pasadena at $65 (rejected).

I closed the screen and tried again. This time I bid for a *2.5 for West Covina at $50 (rejected).

After the 24 hours, I decided to try again for *2.5 for West Covina, this time at $60, which was accepted and additionally I was bumped up to a *3 hotel. Kinda puzzled by how I got this but very happy. The previous day I bid $65 for a *3 and was rejected.

Btw, I used Savingsbarn.com!
