hern Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 Hi,Thanks in advance for your help.I will be renting any economy, compact or intermediate car in Las Vegas for the above dates. Here is what I plan to do:1. Get a back-up rental (a Plan B) that I can cancel.2. Put in bids in Priceline starting at $10, using the link at Savingsbarn.com.3. If my bid fails, I will bump up the car size and bid price and try again. Also, since this is a 6 day rental, I could probably just add a day and return the car earlier. I'm pretty sure the 6 day rental will be priced like a week rental.4. If my bids do not result in a significant savings, I will try again after 72 hours.Any comments or suggestions to let me know if I am on the correct path would be appreciated. Thanks again
thereuare Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding!Seems like a good plan... but i'd also check HOTWIRE to see what their rate is just to make sure you don't overbid on Priceline (and be sure to check the total price, including taxes and fees, as it often differs between priceline and hotwire)Keep us updated and good luck. :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
