wolfgirl Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 HiI'm looking at a 2* North Vancouver hotel, with complimentary breakfast, pool and laundry facilities. The price is $73 per night, 9/17-27. Any ideas of what it might be, would be appreciated. I think because it doesn't show high-speed internet, that it might not suit me, but I am curious. Thanks

wolfgirl Posted September 7, 2007 Author Report Posted September 7, 2007 An update: my dates changed. I've used Priceline for the first 4 nights (see the Priceline section), and am now looking for 4* downtown hotels for some of the remaining dates, but prices are pretty high. I may wait and see what happens over the next few days.
wolfgirl Posted September 9, 2007 Author Report Posted September 9, 2007 I'd been bidding for this zone/star rating for several days, with nothing on or below $172. On the last bid I got a counteroffer for another $27 but didn't take it. Today I started at $152 and was rejected up to and including $172 again. The $177 bid was successful. Normally I would have waited to see if Priceline got more inventory nearer the date, but I can't guarantee I'll have the time or internet access.I've stayed here a few times and it's a great hotel. And right above Cafe Artigiano, who make my favourite sandwich.
