athtrasna Posted September 8, 2007 Author Report Posted September 8, 2007 D'oh! Did a package search and it is indeed the Captain Cook. With taxes and fees it's $159.90. Hotel's own site is $155 plus taxes which brings it to $178. Not a great saving but a saving all the same.

athtrasna Posted September 10, 2007 Author Report Posted September 10, 2007 In the end no. We have decided to spend that particular night in Girdwood after all so don't need the room. If we had done Anchorage we would definitely have taken the deal. Priceline has no 4* hotels in Anchorage and with the big name hotel groups included in the motley crew of 3* hotels it's too big a risk to take.The hotwire hotel list for Anchorage only lists a 2.5* hotel so perhaps you might like to add this?
