Priceline Hotel: 3* & 4* NYC 10/17-10/20

I tried yesterday for a 4* hotel in MTE, MTW, MTS & Upper Mid/Central Park areas using your bidding strategy with rebid zones (Upper West & Upper East) with no luck. I tried for a 3 night stay 10-17 arrival and 10-20 departure and went up to a $210 bid. I then tried a 3* hotel with no luck going up to $210.

I thought I would be able to get a hotel for the $210 and was wondering if I started bidding too early or if this is a busy time in NYC. This will be our first trip to NYC and we were wanting to stay (hopefully) under $225 a night. Do you think we can get a 4* for this price or even a 3*? We're fine with any of the 4 zones mentioned above.

Thanks for your help - I appreciate it.

I don't think it's too early to be bidding as it's a very expensive time in NYC.

I would continue to bid up to your $225 maximum at this point (if you need a specific strategy feel free to ask).

If unsuccessful up to $225, do you have any back-up plan or see any options near your budget?
