Priceline Hotel: Need Advise Urgent 2 days Maui (8-10/9) + 5 days Oahu (10-15/9)

Hi, I'm trying to bid on a 2 day stay at Maui and 5 in Oahu, since last week and haven't got any. My budget is between 75-100 USD/night. Should I try only 2star hotels?. But if I win a 2star hotel for 100$ would it be any difference in booking it on line as regular?
