qlaval Posted September 6, 2007 Report Share Posted September 6, 2007 Hi all :) ,First thank you for such a nice forum!I own Timeshares at the Renaissance Resort in Aruba.I will be there from November 01-16, 2007.My timeshare period are only from November 02-16, 2007....So I would like to purchase an additional night for November 01, 2007 at the Renaissance Resort in Aruba.I know that Priceline does offer/sell Aruba Renaissance Resort.I know that there is NO guarantee that I will be purchasing at the Renaissance.Considering that what would you do if you were to try?The more details the better as I am new to all this...Cordially,Pierre Link to comment

The only item with a check were:1-Can you select additional star levels? 2-Can you change your check-in or check-out dates?Increase you price offer wasn't an option, I did tried it but wasn't able to.So I went with the four star category, same results...Looks like the is no availabilty in resort and 4 star categories that's very strange November is low season.Maybe they don't do one night only? :) Pierre Link to comment

qlaval Posted September 9, 2007 Author Report Share Posted September 9, 2007 Less then the Renaissance member rate of $180...Still Priceline don't offer me the option of putting a higher price?The only options I have is to lower hotel class or to change date...Strangely I found that to put a higher price I have to redo the whole bidding process thing.So after trying $65, $70, $75, $80 and $85 I finally received a different answer...We searched hundreds of options to find your hotel room, however we can't accept your offer of $85 per room, per night. Your credit card has not been charged for Request Number xxx-xxx-xxx-xx. If you are willing to raise your price by $22, you can try the same request again right now. Normally you are required to change additional items (add zones, star level, or dates) in order to try your request again. However we are able to extend this one-time opportunity to you because of the zone, quality level and dates you requested. What should I do accept the $107?Tx Link to comment

qlaval Posted September 12, 2007 Author Report Share Posted September 12, 2007 Was finally able to purchase for $100! :) Didn't got the Renaissance but the Marriott Stellaris instead.I imagine that because of the construction at the Stellaris they decided to go lower then the Renaissance because they expect less customers then usual...Oh well it's vacation time so it doesn't matter that much.Will enjoy anyway! :) Tx for your help it was appreciated Link to comment
