lowimpact Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Tried to get a 4 star downtown bidding 65 then 70 then 75 to no avail so I gave up.Added the airport and dropped my bid to 55 figuring I would end up with the Sheraton since another poster got it for $52 yesterday - bid accepted. In hindsight the airport is out of the way and parking is $23-$25 a day so I'm not really saving any money especially if you count gas to get back and forth into town and overall hassle.

jojo4travel Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 hi thereI recently was able to book for $50/NIGHT. I know parking is a killer - which downs the high of getting a good hotel price, however, you can still park at the park'n'fly which is significantly cheaper. There will be frequent shuttle buses which will take you to and from the parking site to the terminal/hotel. It is about $11.95/day. Furthermore, if you search for park'n'fly discounts, you will find discounts to the already low price! I beleive that the distance is roughly 5 minutes from the hotel via car. That is what I am going to do- I refuse to pay $24/day.Another thing that I find disappointing with the hotel is that you have to pay for hotel WIFI! I believe that it is 16.95/ 24 hours. Knowing how common people use the internet, they should have at least made it free of charge. I have stayed at other Sheratons throughout the States and I did not have to pay.Hope that this info helps!
