nsrao98 Posted September 9, 2007 Author Report Posted September 9, 2007 Thank you for the info.I am looking at the option of staying at Residence Inn - Mariott at Elizabeth, New Jersey. I am getting a suitable suite (with one bedroom and living space so that two of us can share the place) for about 140$ or so from the Mariott website. I have questions not related to hotwire deals for this hotel and area:1. Is it possible to commute to New York from this hotel (one evening trip and return by say 11:00 PM on 21st Sept)?2. Are there similar properties (suite type accommodation) in this price range (max 180$) in Jersey City area?Best regards,NS, Kuwait
thereuare Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 For a one nite stay how much 'living space' do you need? You don't say if you'll have a car or not and/or how you intend to commute? (via mass transit)In the similar category you have the Candlewood Suites this property only has rooms with one Queen bed, not sure if that is an issue for you or not.One room in Jersey City at the Hyatt would be well within your budget and the most convenient for heading to NYC. If one standard room isn't enough for the two of you, there is a chance that you can get two rooms within your $180 budget.Let us know you're thoughts regarding the above and how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise further.
