BEAV
This was an excellent example of a hotel not releasing inventory to Priceline until much closer (less than a week) to the check-in date. I had been bidding this zone off and on for the past six weeks, up to $120, without success.Today's bid of $95 produced counteroffer to add $22. Added free rebid zone, bid $99, and accepted.Doubletree JFK Airport135-30 140th Street Jamaica, New York 11436 Check-in: Friday, Sept 7Check-out: Saturday, Sept 8Offer Price: $99.00Taxes/Fees: $24.70Total: $123.70Bid placed via link to SavingsBarn.com Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your win!A good example of how inventory can, and does, change all the time... as well as why it often pays to 'backtrack' your bids a bit if bidding a few days after a previously failed bidding cycle. Thanks for sharing your win and for starting your bids with the PRICELINE links at SavingsBarn.comEnjoy your stay.
