Thistle Gatwick SOLD to Menzies Hotels

Oh my - I know from these boards that a few of you out there have rooms paid for through Priceline in the next few months. I stumbled across news releases that clearly indicate that the Thistle Gatwick has been sold by the Thistle chain to Menzies.

I also checked the Thistle site - the Gatwick Thistle is no longer listed.

The properties will still be operated as hotels and the new owners should honor all existing reservations.

So i don't this is too big of a deal unless somebody favors one owner over the other.
