nel1215 Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 Hi,I will be traveling to the east coast from 12/27 to 1/6. Looking to stay in New York the first part of the trip and be there in Time Square for the countdown. So, hopeful to find something from 12/27 to 1/1 or 1/2. The rest of the trip, I'm planning on driving to Washington and Maryland and will be back at JFK to fly out on 1/6. I've won the Hilton on Ave of America for $99 a night but this was 3-4 years ago. And, since this is a popular time to travel, I don't expect to get it for that much.Do you recommend a starting point and what amount of money I should expect to spend a night? I'm pretty much set on these areas as most of the stuff we do will be situated in Time Square. However, if its a VERY significant amount of savings, I'd reconsider. This is what I get on hotwire:4* MTE - $239/nite4* Time Square - $383/nite3.5* Time Square - $329/nite3.5* MTE - $286/niteDid they take out MTW? I haven't kept up in years. What do you suggest a good starting point to be? And, what do you think I would be able to win this realistically? Thanks for your help!
thereuare Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 There is no MTW zone on hotwire... it's included in their MTC (Midtown Central) zone. Hotwire also has a Times Square zone, which sits inbetween the equivalent MTE and MTW zone on Priceline. What are the amenities associated with the 4* adn 3.5* MTE hotels via HOTWIRE? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
