Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* Central Park Area Please help id

1/1-1/5 Times Square 3* 114$

This property shows only up when i select 1 person, not 2.

Any idea which hotel this might be?

Amenities are fitness center, business center, restaurant and high speed internet.

According to the hotwire hotel list it could be the crowne plaza or the paramount.

It shows 3.0 tripadvisor rating. Paramount is 3.0 and crowne plaza is 3.5.

So it seems to be the paramount...

If i knew it was the crowne plaza i would book it.

Any way to figure out which one it is?

I just saw on Expedia the paramount offers petite rooms for 119$ for one person. So i guess it's the paramount, which i am not keen on wining!

This does look like the Paramount.

You could probably get a 4* for $30-$40 more per nite. There is also a 3.5* hotel on HOTWIRE in the MTC zone for $132/nite (Hudson Hotel?)

If it was the crowne plaza i would have taken it. I don't want to have such a small room as the hudson offers.

I think i'll wait for the price to go down as i have plenty of time left.

Hi,

i found this 3.5* property for a stay from 1/1/08-1/5/08 in the central park area for 163$

Hotel Amenities are Boutique Hotel, Business Center, Fitness Center and High Speed Internet Access.

According to the hotel list there is only the 4* Hotel Empire which could match this property. Could this be it?

I couldn't find anythin on tripadvisor about the empire hotel.

Not sure of this propery, but rates shouldn't be too high for this stay. Do you have reason to be in this area, as i think you can do better in a more centralized midtown location?

The rates for the dates rose in the past weeks.

The Empire hotel seemed nice to me because it just reopened.

MTE, MTW or MTS would be fine for me, but i don't want to stay neither at the Hudson nor the Paramount.

4* would be preffered.

Through some additional research i don't believe the 3.5* above is the Empire... i still believe that property is currently rated 4 stars.

Did you want to bid midtown zones for this now at the 4* level?

If so, are all 4 midtown zones acceptable? (MTE, MTW, UM/CPS, MTS) What is your maximum bid?

I tried my luck with priceline up to 130$ without any luck.

Any midtown zone is acceptable.

Right now i don't want to bid much more than my 130.

Maybe it's still too early.

I just did a little research on tripadvisor.

There aren't many hotels in the central park area with a rating of 3.5 on more than 220 oppinions. The rate is also the same as quaoted on hotwire. It could be On the Ave hotel, which looks nice, but the location is too far up.
