Hi Folks,

I stumbled upon priceline and this forum accidentally today and I ended up making a reservation through priceline.

Here is how it went.

65$ bid for 3 star hotel in Niagara Falls, NY

Bid rejected

70$ bid for 3 star hotel in Niagara Falls, NY and East Niagara Falls NY

Bid rejected

75$ bid for 3 star hotel in Niagara Falls, NY and East Niagara Falls NY and South Bufalo, Hamburg area

Bid accepted, reservation successfull at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Niagara Falls, NY

Can you tell me if this was a good, bad or Ok reservation. I mean is the price right, could I have got myself a better deal? The third time when i bid, could i have retained the 70$ bid amount and just change the region? I didnt try that out though.

Your $75 was accepted in a zone for which you were previously rejected at $70... so you couldn't have received this for much less.
