This is a match for the Comfort Inn and Suites Cape Canaveral area so that would be our best guess.

Just so everyone knows, the Best Western at Cocoa Beach was just lowered to a 2 1/2 star, so it's entirely possible that this is it. There's a portion of the hotel .. not the tower but the two-story motel ... which would be considered "near the beach" but is not actually beach front. The tower, which has oceanfront rooms and two-room suites, is beachfront.

I know the star rating on Hotwire was lowered because I got the Best Western when I booked thru Hotwire a few months ago. When they lowered the star rating they emailed me and gave me the option of cancelling my reservation.

Also, when I looked at the BestWestern.com website, the prices for a basic room in the motel section is comparable to what you'd pay on Hotwire anyway, so there are no real savings.

Just fyi. Most everyone I've talked to has said the complimentary continental breakfast is pretty good and the motel area is clean, decent, but nothing special if that's what you're looking for.

Everyone says it's a great location and right next to the pier, a grocery store and several good restaurants.

Can you please add the information regarding this downgrade to your original thread where you won the Best Western Cape Caneveral as more people will see it there (or in the New Zone Boundaries, Star Rating Changes thread.

Also, when you won the Best Western, it had many more amenities than those listed above... i don't think the above is the Best Western. Can you let us know what you see (star rating and amenities) if you go to HOTWIRE and click the MY STUFF link near the top of their home page.
