rscima Posted April 9, 2004 Report Share Posted April 9, 2004 Was hoping for Hilton or Doubletree in Cocoa so I bid & re-bid 3*Cocoa/Merritt Island up to $55, all rejected. Just wanted to stay on the beach with the kids for one night not to far from home (Orlando) so tried the Melbourne zone. Wanted oceanfront but Priceline has no way of choosing that. Anyway, this Hilton is only 3 miles from the beach & looks VERY nice on their website so I'm happy with the result. Looks like a beautiful hotel...& only $45/night! Wow! According to other websites checked, looks like the cheapest we could have gotten this room was $99/night!For those of you who like the details, taxes & fees were $11.20/night for a grand total of $56.20.Thanks to all of you for posting results.
