I could have tried $53/$54 to see where the floor price was but I too am getting desperate as I will be leaving in a few days for Texas and previous bids in this zone up to $65 in 2.5* were rejected. This comes out cheaper than my direct booking at Best Western but then I am paying for it with a whopping $15/day parking fee!!!!I received a rental car offer at prices that were previously rejected when I tried to bid and ended up using Hotwire at $12.95/day.
