Would like bidding strategy for 5/15 -17. Earliers posts show a weekday win @ $63 for the Grand Hyatt which would be ideal. Max bid would be $90. Looks like Hotwire has the Grand Hyatt @ $110. Basic travel sites show rates of $119 & $245. Odd that Sunday is the higher rate?

Never know what is happening at the hotel that could increase demand and thus make rates higher (just as an example, there could be a wedding there with lots of guests staying over, thus inflating rates).

When bidding 4* in this zone you have 5 re-bids available, giving you a total of 6 bids per 72 hours. Given that it's early this is how i would bid:

Select 4* Tampa (TPA and Westshore)...

Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone and...

Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone and...

Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone and...

Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone and...

Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone and...

Bid $80.

Let us know how it goes or if you have any add'l questions.
