Priceline Hotel: 2* Montreal (Laval) Quality Suites

I am a first timer as far as Priceline.com is concerned. Prior, I made use of Hotwire but I thought I would try to get a better deal.

First bid was for Brossard, Quebec at $55.00 US but was turned down.

Second bid was for Laval, Quebec at $58.00 US and was accepted.

This was a great deal because I checked other sources and even called directly afterwards to check for the lowest price.

With all taxes and service charges in CANADIAN currency I ended up paying about $81.00 instead of $149.00.

GREAT SAVINGS and I will definitely try my luck again in the future.

I did bid for a 2* hotel but Quality Suites is rated as a 3*.

I stayed at the Quality Suites on Friday August 17, 2007.

You're correct: Priceline did indicate 2*, however I believe it says 3* in the hotel lobby.
