Priceline Hotel: Bidding Help

Yeah, I know, I've picked an expensive weekend to go :) . Before I found this site, I was attempting to bid for 3 or 4* hotel in Niagara Falls, ON from 9/1/ - 9/3. I had bid up to $175.00, but being the first time I ever used priceline, don't know if I did it correctly.

Anyways, I'm looking for a 3 or 4* from 9/1 - 9/3. I'd be willing to spend up to $200/night (USD), but am hoping to go lower as the Brock (a 3*), is $196/night. Can someone walk me through this, and on what to bid?

I'm willing to pay up to $200/night for the best hotel I can manage to get. I don't think I'll be able to get 4*... but you guys are the experts :)

At the 4* level you have three re-bid zones avaialble. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select 4* Niagara Falls...

Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $120, if rejcted close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* Niagara Falls and re-bid zone2...

Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $140, if rejcted close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* Niagara Falls and re-bid zone3...

Bid $150, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $155, if rejcted close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* Niagara Falls and re-bid zone2 and re-bid zone3...

Bid $160, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $165.

I'd start with the above. If rejected don't get discouraged, just post back and we'll revise to try again in 24 hours or lower to a 3 star.
