Hotwire Hotel: 4* Ottawa DT Hotel -- Not ARC

Hey!

I noticed something interesting when I was looking for an Ottawa DT hotel for the easter weekend.

If I check for the night of April 9th, 10th or the 11th individually, all I get is a 4* boutique hotel at $85-90 a night (must be ARC The Hotel).

If I check for April 9th till the 12th however, I don't get the boutique 4* and I get a different 4* with a pool for $56 a night.

What's going on here?

Hotwire shows the lowest priced hotel available for your dates (hotels priced within a few dollars of each other are treated equally and shown according to a random algorithm).

Some hotels have minimum and maximum stay requirements, so just a few possibilities are:

1) the Boutique hotel may not want want guests for 3 or more nites

2) the hotel with a pool may not want guests for individual nites

Interesting, I din't know about the minimum & maximum stay req.

I'll post the info if I end up booking something but I'm starting to feel under the weather so I don't think I will.
