Newbie to board and PL though I read with great interest.

Any idea what hotels a 3* on Sanibel would be and bidding guidance? Couldn't find much in earlier posts.

I can rent 1 of many condos for $800-900 for the week which might be my alternative.

We will bop around a bit as I have only been to Sanibel and would like to check out the area. Actually flying into TPA, couldn't resist the cheap air from Providence.

I will caucus with girlfriend and once we put together itinerary I'll continue the post. I see the Hyatt in Tampa with wins, so that might be my starting off point for a couple of days though I do want Sanibel for at least 3 nights. Your eyes are better than mine as the hotewire list shows Hyatt (Bonita Springs) and PL lists just the Resort Marriott. Any recent wins from the hotels you listed? I'll do some DD on other websites to get baseline price info.

I am thinking 5/15 - 17 Tampa

5/17 - 19 Naples

5/19- 22 Sanibel as I have a late flight on the 22nd from TPA (2 1/2+ hr drive)

Looking for help 4* Tampa (westshore, TPA) (Grand Hyatt?) 5/15 - 16. I saw recent win for the same week @ $63 though I guess the weekend rate might higher? Prefer under $100/night. Any suggestions on bid strategy?

Should I start a new post as I move on to either Naples or Marco Island or just keep the same threads and post the wins?
