tatsea Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 Looking at staying on the Strip on 9/12 & 9/13. Hotwire has a 4* hotel at $89 per night. After reviewing the Hotwire hotel list in Vegas, I know that it is one of 4 hotels: Aladdin (Planet Hollywood), Caesars Palace, Paris, or TI. Would appreciate any help with identifying this hotel. My wife is not too crazy about the Aladdin.
thereuare Posted August 23, 2007 Report Posted August 23, 2007 What are the amenities that HOTWIRE associates with the hotel you're being offered? (and is it in the North or South strip zone) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
tatsea Posted August 25, 2007 Author Report Posted August 25, 2007 The hotel is located on the "Central Strip". The amenities listed are:Casino, Fitness Center, Pool(s),Restaurant(s), Business Center,High-speed Internet Access, Golf Nearby,Tennis, and Spa Services.
thereuare Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 The above matches previous reports for the Aladdin (now Planet Hollywood), Paris, and Caesars... so either of these would be our best guess (does not match previous reports for Treasure Island so i think that is much less likely). However, at $92, plus HOTWIRE's $7 per nite booking fee, you're looking at $96 plus tax for this stay, and i think you can do better....If price is of primary importance you could book Luxor or Monte Carlo for just $80/nite.A step up from these would be NYNY or Treasure Island for $90/nite.My personal choice would be The Mirage for $109/nite (this was the first hotel i stayed at in Vegas so i'm partial to it).If you do go with the original offer please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make... otherwise please use the links in this thread if you book direct.Let us know what you decide to do or if we can be of further help. lasvegasagain Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 hi thereuare.....I am also looking for hotel in Nov....I clicked on the Luxor site you suggested but rooms are over $100....how did you get $80/night? thanks.
thereuare Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 Rates are date specific, so your rates in November have nothing to do with the rates for the OP above whose dates are in September. Please keep all posts regarding your own stay in your existing Las Vegas thread. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
