thereuare Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 The 4* is a match for the Inter-Continental while the 3* is a match for the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza so that would be our best guess for each. Thanks in advance for using our HOTWIRE link to begin your purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. AaronJB Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 The Intercontinental is definitely the better location between those two.
ROOTHEY Posted August 21, 2007 Author Report Posted August 21, 2007 So would you say its better to spend the extra 25/night and go there rather than the holiday inn. I'm not the biggest fan of the HI
ROOTHEY Posted August 22, 2007 Author Report Posted August 22, 2007 :) I went to go book and both those options are gone for the price I quoted!!!Now I'm looking at 4* $129 Chicago LoopBusinessfitnessinternetrestaurantand the 3* has goen up to $142 - would that still be the Holiday Inn???
thereuare Posted August 22, 2007 Report Posted August 22, 2007 The change in price by $3 is not significant, if the amenities are still the same the best guess would remain with the Holiday Inn (and on my current HOTWIRE search there is still a 4* with the amenities above, but for only $5 more than quoted previously... i wouldn't let $5 deter you from a better/worse experience)The loop hotel above is a match for the Palmer House Hilton so that would be our best guess (although i'm not seeing it on my current HOTWIRE search)Let us know what you decide of i we can be of further help. Please remember to use our HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make. ROOTHEY Posted August 22, 2007 Author Report Posted August 22, 2007 That's strange b/c when I checked last night and this morning the lowest price 4* is $209. and the loop is still there for $126.Anyway I noticed an EasyClickTravel link above and tried that I got the Whitehall for $137.37. Got some pretty good reviews on tripadvisor. Hope its all right. It was listed as a 4* and a Chicago landmark. The reverse look up was awesome to use. Thanks for your help
AaronJB Posted August 22, 2007 Report Posted August 22, 2007 Glad you were able to book using the site's reverse lookup tool. The Whitehall does get some mixed reviews, but it's "location, location, location" - it's a great spot to be in - definitely a very pleasant area.
thereuare Posted August 22, 2007 Report Posted August 22, 2007 Glad you found something that works well for your needs and that you found the EasyClickTravel Off the Record tool to be helpful Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
