Park Plaza Austin (renamed Radisson North Austin)? And how about 2.5* Downtown Austin with just Laundry for $72. Anyone know what this is? There are no 2.5*'s listed in Downtown. Link to comment

thereuare
The 3* is a match for the Radisson so that would be our best guess. Best guess on the 2.5* is the Extended Stay, if not that, then some other similar extended stay property. Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. gblakeb
Thanks for your help. I am kinda stuck as I am not too thrilled about either of those. But its a last minute thing for the Texas-TCU football game. Change of plans, wasn't going to the game, now we are, and its only 2 1/2 weeks away. I should have had these reservations at least a month ago or more.Any idea whether the Extended Stay is the one at 600 Guadalupe or the Town Lake location (I think that's a Homestead and the dreaded old Wellesley). thereuare
Could be either... both are often seen with just a Laundry icon. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
bossx20
fairly certain that 3* north is the radisson. Link to comment
gblakeb
It was the Radisson. Not displeased with it, but I pretty much ran out of options. I would have typically booked the Sheraton downtown using points but they were completely booked up. I bid up to $105 on a 3* downtown with priceline with no luck and to $85 on a 2.5* downtown.Just goes to show you that for UT football, get your reservations early. I had all my other games already booked, but wasn't planning on attending this one until this past weekend. Link to comment
