Park Plaza Austin (renamed Radisson North Austin)?And how about 2.5* Downtown Austin with just Laundry for $72. Anyone know what this is? There are no 2.5*'s listed in Downtown.

gblakeb Posted August 21, 2007 Author Report Posted August 21, 2007 Thanks for your help. I am kinda stuck as I am not too thrilled about either of those. But its a last minute thing for the Texas-TCU football game. Change of plans, wasn't going to the game, now we are, and its only 2 1/2 weeks away. I should have had these reservations at least a month ago or more.Any idea whether the Extended Stay is the one at 600 Guadalupe or the Town Lake location (I think that's a Homestead and the dreaded old Wellesley).

gblakeb Posted August 22, 2007 Author Report Posted August 22, 2007 It was the Radisson. Not displeased with it, but I pretty much ran out of options. I would have typically booked the Sheraton downtown using points but they were completely booked up. I bid up to $105 on a 3* downtown with priceline with no luck and to $85 on a 2.5* downtown.Just goes to show you that for UT football, get your reservations early. I had all my other games already booked, but wasn't planning on attending this one until this past weekend.
