mobiusring Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 Dear Admin,Looking for 4* hotels on the strip during 8/31 ~ 9/2 2007.... The max budget is around $170.Also if I can get Marriott Suites during the same time for about $90 it would be perfect too!!!:) I tried the bidding trick, and the most I got was 119 for 3* on at the Convention center, but not even sure if that is the Marriotts or not.thanks so much for your help!!!!
thereuare Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding! Are you "ok" with the Westin, which is in Priceline's South strip zone... but slightly off-strip? mobiusring Posted August 20, 2007 Author Report Posted August 20, 2007 Thank you for replying back so soon. I would like to avoid the Westin...:) The reviews were only okay, but I did ( I think) get $145 a night for it:) What would you suggest:)?
thereuare Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 Since you aren't willing to accept the Westin, you can't include the South zone in your bidding, and the number of hotels able to accept your bid will be severely limited. I'm think your chances of success in the North zone for less than $170 are less than 50/50... and surprisingly the Mirage seems to be your least expensive 4* option at $209/nite, just over your maximum budget. mobiusring Posted August 21, 2007 Author Report Posted August 21, 2007 Thanks! I might try the Westin after all:) Thank you for all your help!!!!

mobiusring Posted August 21, 2007 Author Report Posted August 21, 2007 Let us know whatever you ultimately decide to do for this stay.now I am currently trying to bid for the venetian, but it won't even take bids up to 250!!! Priceline has been offering 370 (with 80 dollars bonus...) I was wondering if I can do better than that on venetian:)thanks
