Hotwire Hotel: 3* Miami (Airport MIA) Holiday Inn Doral

Booked the Hotwire 3* Miami International, 2 rooms, 2 nights 1/25/08 pre cruise from Port Everglades. It was, in fact, the Holiday Inn Airport West-Doral, as I had surmised from other posts.

We could not find anything in the FLL area at a good price. This is perfect fror us because we are renting a car anyway and like the Doral area.

Great price for this kind of property.

We also got this hotel for $59 for 1 night post-cruise on Feb 10. We are renting a car for the day, so location was okay with us, too.

Please post a follow-up to your thread with the details of your stay which will add a 'conclusion' to your thread and let others know that you were ultimately successful rather than leave them guessing as to what you eventually did for that stay.

Give away was airport shuttle but no port shuttle. HIE-MIA is also three star with identical amenities but for the fact that it shuttles to the Port of Miami'

Much happier with the Doral property for us.

Called property beforehand and was asured by manager that they do not charge extra for pool or parking on Hotwire bookings.

Thereuare, my original post was about a pre-cruise hotel on Jan 31. This purchase was actually for post-cruise on Feb 10th, so I will just start another thread. Thanks.
