hello, first post, thank you for your help

Can someone help identify the follwing "CONDO"

Oct 4th to 12th (8 nights)

3* CONDO in area I-Drive North Universal

icons : condo - 2 bedrooms - fully equiped kitchen - pool

proposed at 73$ a night

the number of amenities (icons) seems very small for a condo (no free parking ???)

and it is not the Westlake as it seems to appear for 59$ on the I-Drive south area

This property has not yet been identified. However, if you need a Condo propety and this seems attractive (the tripadvisor rating seems pretty good) you could try the following...

See if this property is offered for the first (or last) day of your stay and then again for the balance of your stay. If so, purchase the first (or last) nite in order to "look behind the curtain"... if you're happy with the results then make proceed to purchase the balance of your stay; if you're not happy, make alternate plans for the remainder of your trip.

Just did a one night reservation as you suggest:

73+tax total =88.62

Westgate Palace

6145 Carrier Dr

Orlando, Florida 32819

(407) 996-6000

then checked on tripadvisor

it's only a 3.5 rating, not a 4 on reviews

it's a "2*" on trip advisor, not a 3*

the 2 last reviews are not glowing

and on Expedia they warn that the property goes on refurb in the fall (when i go) with noise anoyance

i'll pass for the remainder of the trip

Thank you for sharing your results with the board and adding this property to the Hotwire Hotel List.

If you're not happy with this outcome i would try to contact HOTWIRE customer service regarding the TripAdvisor rating not being as advertised (4.0 shown vs 3.5 actual). There are some very good reviews, so i'm guessing there is a difference in quality between units on the property (common in condo complexes) and a lot of the over experience depends upon which unit you get.
