Hotwire Hotel: 3* San Francisco (USE) Crowne Plaza

Just wondering if someone could please give me an indication of what 3* hotel would be in Union Square East for $119 per night (check in 11 March 08 - Check Out 15 March 08)with the following:

Boutique Hotel

Restaurant

Business Center

High-speed Internet Access

Have you done anything yet with your previous Hotwire Washington DC thread?

Please follow-up that thread with any update and then bump this thread and we'll have a look at the above? (or are you not ready to make your purchase this far ahead of your stay)

Not sure what you mean about if we have done anything about our Washington DC thread however, yes we booked accommodation in Washington DC for those dates and we ended up with the Hyatt - we were very happy!

If you look at your Washington DC thread there is nothing about you receiving the Hyatt (whether you booked HOTWIRE, tried priceline, or booked thru some other source). Current readers of that thread are likely to assume you haven't won anything for that stay yet... and perhaps somebody else is waiting to see what you did as they're currently looking at Washington DC for those same dates.

Ideally all posts on the board would have a 'conclusion' with what was ultimatley done for that stay. This helps keeps the board better organized, gives more information for future users, and is a courtesy to those who took the time to help for them to know if their advice helped (which also helps tweak future advice given)

Please post a follw-up indicating what you received, price, thru what servcie you booked, etc... then bump this thread and we'll have a look at the above.

Are you still seeing the above hotel on a current HOTWIRE search?

I just searched for your dates and wasn't offer the above 3* in the USE zone. If you are still seeing this property, are you searching for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults?

unfortunatly the hotel doesn't appear to be there now- it must have been the time delay between our initial post.

Are you able to help with another option....there is a 3* hotel for $154 - 11 March 2008 Check In and check out 15 March 2008. Options include:

Fitness Center

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-speed Internet Access

Another one 2* for $54 Check in 11 March 2008 - Check out 15 March 2008. Options include:

Complimentary Breakfast

High-speed Internet Access

Is the 2* in the USE zone as i don't see it on a current HOTWIRE search.

The 3* is a match for the Crowne Plaza so that would be our best guess.

The hotel for $54 is actually in Union Sqaure West not East. What is the difference between the two?

USE and USW are different zones... see the HOTWIRE map for the boundary of each.

Best guess for the 2* is the Adante.
