HKR Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 First bid on 4/4 was $25 - rejected. Unable to rebid right away since dates, airport and type of vehicle were not negotiable. Second bid on 4/6 was $30 - accepted. $210 + $64.04 taxes and fees...Total - $274.04. Orginally wanted the Thrifty Florida convertible sale, however not valid on 5/29. My credit card will insure rentals. Do you think they will cover a Priceline vehicle?
thereuare Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 Welcome to BetterBidding!Priceline states that:Your accepted priceline Rental Car offer does not include any kind of insurance.Visa, MasterCard and American Express will apply the same coverage for rentals made through priceline's Name Your Own Price sm Rental Car service as they would for rentals made directly through the rental car companies. Check with your credit card provider to determine whether you're covered and, if so, to what extent. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
