SLC-YYZ Posted August 16, 2007 Author Report Posted August 16, 2007 Indeed...I am happy but it's definitely more than I expected for a 5* in HK (either HK-W or TST). There isn't much availability on the other online engines either...so I went higher after 4 days of hovering around my target/expected range. What can I say ... I caved somewhat. I could have gotten in another round of bids but I got ansy and wanted this all settled.
noodlesz Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 HKD is tied to the USD so dollar weakening shouldn't affect prices for HK. but I know the HK market is quite hot right now, so hotels are very full and prices up in general overall vs last year.
