Priceline Hotel: 2.5* Houston (Galleria) Bradford Homesuites

This was a last minute bid as the home air conditioner went on the blink yesterday as we sweltered in 100 degree temps. Since I didn't have much oppurtunity to re-bid for the same day, I placed this bid and won on first try. I had never even heard of this hotel, seems to have been constructed in the last couple years. Signs in lobby indicate it will be re-branded a Hyatt Summerplace Suites soon. Nice place , but the hardest bed I have ever slept on ( and I like firm mattresses)!

One interesting note: the front desk clerk didn't seem to have a clue about how to handle a PL reservation, so I had to explain how it was pre-paid by Priceline's credit card, not mine. I gave her my PL receipt to speed things along, and she noticed that PL paid them $42 for the room, though my receipt showed $45. This really confused her, until I explained the spread and how PL makes their money.
