adhalla Posted August 13, 2007 Report Posted August 13, 2007 Hi;My wife, daughter (6) and I will be staying at a Disney resort between Sep 22 to Sep 29. However, we are arriving on the evening of Sept 21st and need accomodation for that night around Orlando (we'll have a rental car). We're simply looking for a decent hotel to spend a night. Any suggestions on what to look for? Am I better off using Priceline? (I have no experience using PL). Thank-you.
thereuare Posted August 13, 2007 Report Posted August 13, 2007 First thing you need to consider is that priceline only guarantees double occupancy... after that is the descretion of the hotel. In an area such as Orlando they are probably used to families and likely have a larger percentage of rooms with two beds, so the risk is probably less than in many other areas of the country, but it's still a risk you have to first decide if you're willing to take.HOTWIRE usually costs a little bit more, but does allow yout to search for up to quad occupancy, ensuring sleeping accomodations for each person you include in your search.Let us know your thoughts and we'll then proceed from there. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
adhalla Posted October 19, 2007 Author Report Posted October 19, 2007 Got a decent deal at Baymont Inn (near Universal) via their website - $44.00.
