Was hoping for the Hyatt and bid $69 for Cambridge, and got this one (which apparently isn't even in Cambridge??)

Yes it is 3 star and the date is Aug 30th.

Just to let you know: The area I selected in Priceline is just "Cambridge" - not "Cambridge-Brookline" as this subject title says.

Reminder to all Priceline buyers --- don't forget to confirm with the hotel DIRECTLY!

I did tonight and found out my reservation was for a SMOKING room! By calling the hotel ASAP after purchase , you can get this changed - I did and it looks like it won't be a problem to switch to non-smoking < we'll see for sure when I get there - fingers crossed! >

...although it's probably worthwhile to remind everyone... as part of the priceline bidding process, you accept the risk that you may be assigned a smoking room. The hotel is under no obligation to accommodate any request, which is part of the reason they accept such low bids.

Good to see it worked out in this case, tho.
