Question- is the 24 hour rule still in effect? I seem to be getting the 3 day trick. The zone trick didn't work for me regardless of obsolete because all areas (london) have 4* hotels available.

I have been trying for a few days and couldn't get anything under 155.00 for Sept 15th-19th. We are traveling with my 14mo daughter so I wanted (hoped!) a 4* hotel might have a bigger room to accomodate a crib.

Today Priceline came back and asked me to up my bid 25.00 and it would search again (I have never seen this page, usually it makes me select additional criteria, etc.... so I bit the bullet and for 180.00 got the Sheraton Belgravia.

It is rated 4 on Tripadvisor with a healthy amount of 5's in there, website direct price is close to 460.00 a night (US) for the cheapest room, is .1 from Harrod and .1 from the closest Tube stop- sounds like a great area....

I hope I am happy!!!!
