Priceline Hotel: 4* St Catherines-Niagara (Niagara Falls) Sheraton on the Falls

This bid was accepted after a lot of pain and suffering.

I initially wanted to stay on the Canada side for the full 3 nights of my visit, 8/20/07-8/23/07. Started from $41, $50, $60, $70, and finally $80 to no avail.

Then decided to stay the first night, 8/20/07, on the American side. (See post in Priceline-New York. $70 Crowne Plaza)

Next, I started bidding for 8/21/07-8/23/07. Started from $50, $60, $70, $80, to $85, and none were accepted.

So I decided to stay the 3rd night, 8/22/07, on the American side as well. (See post in Priceline-New York. $65 Crowne Plaza)

At that point, I was determined to win a bid for my second night, 8/21/07. Began from $50, $60, $70, $80, and at $90 the message: "If you are willing to raise your price by $22, you can try the same request again right now.". This was I sign that I was close. Finally, my next bid at $95 was accepted.

In the end, I spent just within my budget for the hotels, but would be happier if they were all on the Canadian side.
