spleenstomper Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 I was hoping for the Hilton, but this is great also since I found out 2 of our couple friends will be there at the same time as well. Ahhh, it's like spring break again... only with kids... and more money.... on second thought... nothing like spring break. :)
spleenstomper Posted August 8, 2007 Author Report Posted August 8, 2007 BTW, I bid on this about a month ago.... had trouble getting an account and then went out of town again... so I'm just getting to post it here.Oh, and I called to confirm and was told we'd be in the Bayside Inn, which is what I had figured on since I had read several reports about how Priceliners seem to be placed there. I'm nervous about getting 2 queen beds (I think bayside may have doubles) since we're bringing 3 small kids. I don't know what we're going to do if all they have is a king set up. (I suppose we could farm the kids out to our friends, who will be staying in owned-condos there.)

spleenstomper Posted August 13, 2007 Author Report Posted August 13, 2007 Thanks! We had an AWESOME time! I checked in at the Bayside Inn and they told me we were placed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa in the Heron Walk section!!! This was wonderful for us... it was an owned condo with a view of the bay. Sandestin was so much fun, except at the beach, the hotel beach chairs were 3 rows deep (and I'm told on the weekend it can be 5 rows deep).Since we met up with our friends, one of them also has a family home in Seagrove, so we went there to the beach where we practically had the entire beach to ourselves.Just wanted to update.... definitely got a fantastic deal through Priceline. PL has never let me down!
