i hope this is as nice as people have been reporting...we nwever bid a 2 star and my family will freak out on me if it is sub standard.

It was a Hilton until about 3 years ago. It is being renovated (could be complete) and is to become a Holiday Inn. The Holiday Inn opening was planned way back in March so I don't know what the delay was/is. If you go to holidayinn.com and enter Sunrise, Florida you'll see the listing for it. I'd guess the conversion is very soon as holidayinn.com is selling rooms for this location as of 10/15/07. So by the time you stay it will a Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites.
