thereuare Posted July 28, 2007 Report Posted July 28, 2007 Each of the above is a match for the following so these would be our best guess for each:1. ResortQuest Kauai Beach at Makaiwa2. Castle Kiahuna Plantation & Beach Bungalows3. Marc Resorts at Princeville4. Castle Makahuena at PoipuPlease remember to use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. jennye Posted August 3, 2007 Author Report Posted August 3, 2007 I am looking to bid a resort in Kauai for Oct 23-28. According to the list, it looks like I would either get the Grand Hyatt or Marriott. Is that correct? I would be happy with either of those. Thanks for any help!
thereuare Posted August 3, 2007 Report Posted August 3, 2007 it looks like I would either get the Grand Hyatt or Marriott. Is that correct? The hotel lists should never be considered "complete" or "finite".... see the comments at the top of the Priceline Hotel List.If you would like to proceed with Priceline let us know your maximum bid and the zone(s) that you're willing to accept. jennye Posted August 3, 2007 Author Report Posted August 3, 2007 Well, I determined I could get the Hyatt on HOTWIRE at $213 a night, so I'm thinking I will try $190 on priceline. I am open to any area, but it looks like there is only one zone for resorts on Priceline. Thanks for the advice.
thereuare Posted August 4, 2007 Report Posted August 4, 2007 That seems reasonable although you could consider a few dollars less ($180?) since you have so much, but if you do, i'd be committed to bidding every 24 hours as i think this is a pretty good rate for the Hyatt and i wouldn't want to see it disappear on you.The Grand Hyatt is really a great property (but also comes with a high price tag too!)Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
