florida7000
Started at $25. Expected to win at a lower price. Kind of expensive for a 3* in the area but not too many 3* around. Link to comment
Colfax
This was the Stockton Hilton. Then it was the Stockton Radisson. Now it's the Stockton Grand Hotel. Thanks for reporting this "new" hotel. Link to comment

florida7000
Do you recall the amount of your previously rejected bid at the 3* level in the Stockton zone just before this $80 acceptance?Thanks.Yes. $75 was rejected. Interesting enough, Hotwire has an opaque 3* for $79 in Stockton which I believe is the same hotel. So they both offere this hotel for the same price. I love your site by the way. It provides a valuable service. Link to comment

Colfax
So the same hotel wal Hilton and Radisson before?!Yup! And this is the hotel where Dick Cheney stayed when he visited Stockton last year. Maybe you'll get to sleep in the same bed as the Vice President! :) Link to comment

Colfax
It looks like the old Stockton Hilton will be a Hilton again! While looking for something else on Hilton's website tonite I noticed a "Stockton Hilton" in Hilton's directory, opening in March 2008. And sure enough it's the same "2323 Grand Canal" address as this Stockton Grand, formerly the Stockton Radisson, and before that the Stockton Hilton.I can't think of another example of this---a hotel taking a brand name, dropping it, then taking it back again.(And Dick Cheney was in Stockton to campaign for the local Republican Congressional candidate, who lost.)
