uBerDeal Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 Hotwire allows max of 4 people in one room. But to save money can I book as 4 and have 5 people stay in the room? If I choose a 4* hotel for 4 ppl will they care to check how many actually stay in the room? Thanks
thereuare Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding!"Your milage may vary"A lot depends upon the hotel, and even the staff that is working at the time you check-in, as well as their mood. I could try this (i woudln't though... but i could) and not have a problem, you could then try it and have a problem. This could occur at different hotels or even at the same hotel, again, depending upon the mood of the staff at check-in.Keep in mind that NYC hotel rooms are notoriously small to begin with, andoccupancy for 5 will be tight no matter what hotel you receive, but many times the "quad occupancy" limit is put into place as a result of fire code. You can also see the related link in our PRICELINE FAQ regarding room occupancy. If you'd like help for this upcoming stay please include the dates, zones, requirements, budget, star rating, etc, etc, and we'll try to help.
