i dont see any recent posting regarding 4* or resorts in the miami beach zone. I was wondering if any one had any info on any winning bids with pl? What they were? And if any one knows which hotels you get generaly in that zone

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Most users bid the South Beach zone (rather than the Miami Beach zone) which can account for not many recent wins in this area. We can suggest a strategy for whichever zone(s) you're willing to accept... do you only want Miami Beach or is South Beach also an option?

All hotels reported to the board are in the Priceline Hotel List.

If you'd like help with bidding for this stay, let us know your maximum bid and the above info regarding the zone(s) and we'll advise accordingly.

i would prefer the miami beach area I would like as cheap as possible for a 4* or resort. Is it possible to get for less than 100?would like 70 or 80 be possible. I only need one night 8/7 . Thanks alot

One more question and we'll then look at rates and advise accordingly...

It's not clear if your post above reads: "I prefer the Miami Beach zone and would like it as cheap as possible..." or "I prefer the Miami beach zone because i would like it as cheap as possible..."

While South Beach is usually more expensive than Miami Beach, there are currently many more hotels in the South Beach zone at the 4* or higher quality level... so if you're focussing on Miami Beach because you think it will be cheaper, you may want to consider including both zones since it increases the number of hotels able to accept your winning bid. Of course if you prefer the Miami Beach zone because you'd rather stay there than South Beach... then you should just bid the Miami Beach zone (although for some dates i've seen the South Beach zone be less expensive)

Let us know and we'll suggest a strategy to follow.

It is a much more low key.

I'm the same way :)

We haven't seen much sub-$100 4* or better acceptance in this area but to give it a shot, you have four re-bid zones available. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select 4* Miami Beach...

Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $65, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* Miami Beach and re-bid zone2...

Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $75, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* Miami Beach and re-bid zone3...

Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $85, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 4* Miami Beach and re-bid zone4...

Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone2...

Bid $100.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

i went up to 105 in miami beach and was unsuccesful. than i bid in North miami beach and went up to 110.i got the le meridien in sunny isles. Thanks for your help. Is there a way not to pay the resort fee. Also is there any other alternatve to the 25 dollar parking? if any one knows pls let me know

Congratulations on your win!

Glad to hear of your success.

The Resort fee you'll likely have to pay although as it's getting tougher and tougher to "get out of". As far as parking, perhaps somebody who knows the area better than i do can give more specifics, but often you can find a non-hotel lot nearby which would be cheaper than parking at the hotel itself.

Enjoy your stay.
