Hey all I will be in Prague 8/9 checking out 8/11 so I only need a place for 2 nights. I havent been to Prague before and am not sure the best zones. It doesnt appear that any of the hotewire Prague hotels have been identified. I really dont care if I go through priceline, hotwire, etc. Id prefer the best deal. Id like a 4* or 5* hotel. I can get the intercontinental prague for 102 euro which would be pretty close to $140 I guess so I probably wouldnt bid over that. Any help or other good sites to get a Prague hotel would be much appreciated. Thanks

Which priceline zone is the Inter-Continental in?

I'll give it 24 hours (if you'd like) and hopefully others who know the area have better than i will be able to cime in with zone recommendations. However, so others can assist you better, you may want to mention if you're there on vacation (and what you'd like to see/do while there) or if on business and need to be near a specific location, etc, etc.

Good idea....I just want to go and see the city. I will actually be in Moscow/St Pete for the preceeding few days and have 2 extra nights prior to returning to Phoenix. I have never been to Prague so I figured I should check it out. (Czech it out even) haha! Well either way I would like a hotel closest to the city center and east of the river or central Prague appear to be the most appealing zones when looking at priceline and hotwire respectively. Anyone with advice would be appreciated.

Well I ended up bidding on priceline and winning the Intercontinental for $120 per night. The intercontinental is a 5* hotel in the east zone. First bid was for $105 and priceline counteroffered requesting I increase my bid $22. Instead I added a rebid and bid $112 which was rejected. I then added the final rebid zone and bid $120 which was accepted. The total cost is about $270 all inclusive so I am rather pleased. Several of the 4* Prague hotels that have been reported wins on priceline have less than promising tripadvisor reviews. The exception to this is the Renaissance which is closed for remodeling. I used the savings barn link as well. Thanks for your help. If anyone still has advice on what to do please let me know. Thanks

Congratulations on your win... same hotel for less money is always good!

Glad to hear this location will work well for your needs.

Not sure if the rates changed, but i'm currently showing 189EUR the best rate for this property, would imply this is a better deal then previously thought.

Thanks for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links at SavingsBarn.com

Enjoy your stay.
